How to Delete Your Account
You can request the permanent deletion of your VitaRun account and associated
data. VibeGroup Studio ensures that your data is handled securely.
Method 1: In-App Deletion
- Open the VitaRun app.
- Go to Settings > Account.
- Tap Delete Account and confirm your choice.
Method 2: Email Request
Send an email to support@vibegroup.com from the email
address associated with your account, requesting account deletion.
What happens to your data?
All personal data (email, name, physical activity, emotional state logs) gets
permanently deleted. Anonymized, aggregated technical data that cannot be linked back to you may be
retained for app performance analysis.
Data Retention and Deletion Timeline
Upon deletion request:
- Immediate: Your account becomes inaccessible. We
immediately start deleting your primary profile data, health metrics, and activity logs.
- Within 30 days: All your active data is completely
removed from our primary production systems.
- Backup data (up to 90 days): Secure backups may retain
your data for up to 90 days for disaster recovery purposes. After this period, it is permanently
deleted.
Data associated with third-party services
When you delete your account, the following actions are taken with respect to third-party services:
- Firebase Authentication (Google LLC): Your Firebase Auth record is deleted immediately as part of the account deletion process.
- RevenueCat (subscription management): Subscription data is managed by Apple and Google through their respective app stores. Deleting your VitaRun account does not automatically cancel active subscriptions. Please cancel your subscription through the App Store or Google Play before deleting your account to avoid continued charges.
- OpenAI (AI features): OpenAI processes data via API with a zero-retention policy — no persistent user data is stored by OpenAI after processing your AI feature requests.
What happens to family connections?
If you are part of a family group and delete your account, all your family connections and shared data links are permanently removed. Family members will no longer see your data in their family view. If you are the family group creator, the group is dissolved and all connections are severed. Other family members' accounts and data are not affected.
